搬屋須知的十條常識
1、要選適宜搬屋的“良辰美景”。擇日可以參看“每日通勝”;凡通勝內記載之: 驿馬 天馬德合 開日 成日，天赦 天願 四相 時德 民日 月恩等等最宜搬遷。 注意切忌通勝內記載之: 四廢 五墓四離，破日 平日 收日 閉日 四絕，往亡 歸忌 天吏 大時 月厭 月刑三煞等日。另外要看這一天是否與家人屬相相沖，如果相沖擇另擇日。在此基礎上找出當天的具體適宜時辰，定出適宜的搬屋時間。通常情況下要選擇白天搬屋。否則夜間搬屋可能影響你的運氣。
2、選擇新枕頭搬屋。位理學認為“入夥”是人丁氣場的轉移，因此需要枕頭先入夥：按照家人的數量，啓用新的枕頭開門入宅。按照個人的床位分別擺放。在香港、新加坡等地華人，還在枕頭內裝有信封，內藏138元，以圖“一生發” 之意。
3、入住時取21枝香點著 從屋的左方入 讓濃煙上下熏掃廳房及廁浴廚竈，天花板，牆壁及至牆腳，從屋的右方出 到外間安全的地方 把它弄熄棄掉。以次去掉邪氣，尤其對于那些蓋在風水一般的地基上的房子尤為重要。
4、特別提醒：如果你是孕婦，那麽不宜目睹整個搬遷過程。在搬遷日吉時內，最好做點燒水、煮飯、拜神、燃放鞭炮等工作。
5、入住當天，一定要燒一壺開水 寓意財源滾滾。同時塞住各種池盆(廚房、衛生間等) 開啓水龍頭 要細水慢流;因為細水長流，寓意盤滿缽滿之意。屋宅內還可以開著風扇 四圍吹風 但不要向大門吹，有風生水起之意頭。
6、搬屋時最好攜帶一只裝滿了米的米缸或米桶，桶中擺放一張寫有“常滿”的紅紙，或是擺放有168元的信封，取其“一路發”之意。
7、如果搬屋時路途較遠，那麽隨身行李中要帶一把米、一把泥土和一小瓶水去新家。尤其是對于從一個省市搬到另一個省市更應如此，且不說出國了。如此能防止水土不服和思念家鄉。
8、搬屋當天千萬不能生氣，絕對不可罵人、尤其是不要漫罵小孩子。一定要說吉祥話、做吉祥事。
9、搬屋當天不要在新家睡午覺，否則以後容易患病。當晚睡覺，主人要在躺下幾分鍾後又起來工作一小會，表示睡下還要起來。
10、搬屋後的第一天或第一周內要鬧房，即一定要請親朋好友、左鄰右舍到家中熱鬧一番：或聊天或吃飯或娛樂等，越熱鬧越以驅邪。
